Gavin is a sought after speaker for his insight into what it is like to climb the worlds highest mountains and succeed while many around him fail.

As well as Mt Everest, Gavin has climbed several other peaks including:

  • Lhotse (8516m) Nepal (Expedition Leader)
  • Mt Cook (3754m) and several other 3000+ peaks in New Zealand
  • Lobuche East (6000m) Nepal (Climbed twice)
  • Ama Dablam (6756m) Nepal
  • Mt Cho Oyu (8201m) Tibet (Climbed without oxygen)
  • Cholatse (6440m) Nepal

Also available to lead groups or individuals on expeditions and treks he has the know how and experience to help you achieve your goals.

Gavin grew up in Cessnock in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. A coalminers son who was always outdoors as a kid who saw the world not as a scary place but a beautiful place to be explored and did his first abseil at a school camp when he was eleven years old.

This would shape the direction his life would take and lead him to undertake many climbs, treks and adventurers in all corners of the globe.
